This is how another local TO handled the situation. Instead of standing beside me and the other girls who had come out with their stories, he was more concerned with taking the credit of bringing this guy to justice himself. I was literally shamed for not speaking up.pic.twitter.com/W5YWp18GVz

I want to add to this to clarify: the TO here has since apologized to me and I have no current issue with him. He realizes he was in the wrong and was sincere with me. This is why I will not reveal his identity, however it remains my experience and thus mine to share.

...it’s because of the rampant victim-blaming that happens in this community. It needs to stop. Victims of something like this do not need to be shamed for the sake of pushing forward your own agenda. It doesn’t matter who it is, or who they play, they need the punishment.
