I haven’t been keeping up with playing the past couple of months and while it’s caused my results to plummet, I realize how much pushing my improvement so hard has burned me out and taking time to enjoy other things again in the meantime has been healthy for me

Whether or not I start playing seriously again remains to be seen. It’s hard to find the drive to improve when you feel like you’re not getting anywhere and you find out that people you thought were close friends are constantly calling you free behind your back. I’m just tired

It makes it really difficult to want to carry on when you don’t know what support is genuine and what isn’t. I doubt myself a lot and my play suffers for it.

I’ve been afraid of saying all this but I want it to be heard. I still enjoy discussion and will always be here to cheer for all of my friends regardless of what happens next. I just wish I knew how to get back to business without feeling guilty or like it’s a waste of time.

I can tell you from personal experience that taking a break and getting your mind in the right spot is more important for growth than grinding anyway. Whats the point of playing if you don't enjoy it? Use your time on something thats fun.
