Nah it def isn’t I just honestly like to understand from the perspective of someone who kind of wants to pick up other characters but is afraid to branch out. I like having discussions about why people think about characters how they do, what makes them annoying etc

I just don’t find it fun to play terrible matchups in bracket. It also means that I never feel like I can blame a loss on matchup, just what I’m doing wrong. If I want to branch out, I’ll either do that in friendlies or if there’s a good reason to in bracket.

I see it that way too. There are a ton of MUs I don’t really enjoy but I used to complain a lot and would refuse to play them when in reality I needed the experience. I guess a Lucas main wouldn’t know Lucas is annoying...but the ditto is kind of stupid ngl, comically so
