I think one of the reasons why people drop Lucas is because he requires a lot of precision. He's not exactly easy to use.
Several top players have been picking up Lucas just to drop him so soon. What I hate is that he’s so close to being good. I know other people see it too. He is just a couple of minor buffs from being a high tier character but he just can’t quite break mid right now.

He just needs better frame data and a good way to get out of disadvantage. Seriously this character is amazing when he's in advantage but in disadvantage he gets destroyed almost as badly as DK. Some nair buffs would be greatly appreciated.

All we can hope for is that in later patches, he'll end up getting the buffs that he deserves. With Terry coming out soon, we'll see what ends up happening by then. I'd love for more people to use Lucas, and I hope to pick him up myself one day. Let's just hope for the best.
