I'd honestly be happy with that as well. I'm not sure how Nintendo would be able to top this without them just keep adding onto it. What I hope they possibly do is when the Switch ends up having it's support stopped, they'll port Ultimate to the next system to continue support.
I think I’d honestly be happy if Ultimate was the last smash game, as long as Nintendo continued to give it support over the years.

That would be awesome, but unfortunately I think porting it considers it a new release, which means they could still lose the rights to some of those third party characters like Snake or Cloud.

I can’t imagine it will be the last smash game. It makes too much money. However it will likely be Sakurais last game and maybe the last good smash game. But Nintendo will milk the title
