Due to recent events at EVO, I want everyone to know that if you’re ever attending the same event as me and you are in an unsafe or uncomfortable situation, DM ME. I WILL come to you and I’ll act like I’ve known you my whole life. I don’t care if we’ve never spoken before.
If someone offers you a ride to and from the venue but you feel unsure or don’t trust them enough, tell me and I will absolutely order you an Uber or Lyft. Don’t accept drinks from anyone and don’t let anybody watch yours. If you see something suspicious happening, SPEAK UP.
We HAVE to start taking initiative to protect each other. It breaks my heart that I even need to say this. Please please please be safe. Be aware and trust your gut.
