The more time passes, the more likely moving far up north seems to be the right choice. But even then, I'm scared for my loved ones who can't join, and leading a new life away from what I know. It's a lot to process and weigh.
I’m so sorry. I live in the conservative south as well and it’s really just as terrifying here. My goal is to eventually end up in Oregon or California, hopefully within the next 10 years. Whatever you do, just be safe Griffin. You’re loved.

Both are much better than the south but definitely have their downsides. Oregon would be cheaper bu outside PDX there's a pretty substantial white supremacist presence (which makes sense considering Oregon's history but ugh)
