I met my amazing boyfriend @koterfgc through the community, along with so many incredible friends I couldn’t do without now. It’s influenced where I’ll be living within the year, and I love my main of 11 years with all my heart! There’s so much!

When I moved to Lafayette last year, hardly knowing a single person, the Smash scene welcomed me with open arms and helped me adjust to a new place so easily! Also when I was most stressed out throughout college, going to tournaments and playing Smash with friends helped so much
YOOO I'm gonna be moving to Laffayette once I'm out of the Air Force
brawl holds amazing memories for me when i was like 7-8 playing with elementary school friends. we created custom stages and liked playing the melee stages more than the brawl ones so i harbor a lot more nostalgia for temple and onett, Especially the music
it also introduced me to the mother series. had no idea who ness and lucas were but they followed me around for the next ten years and i only knew where they were from, nothing more than that. ive picked up bits and pieces about them over the years but
I met a group of amazing friends, the guys at high mountain gaming (@HM_Gaming) that I wouldn't have met without going to play smash at anime expos
I'm really glad that I met them, my overall skill has increased incredibly since I met them and I have a lot of fun at the locals

Smash helped me rediscover my love for the mother franchise. I recently replayed earthbound and playing through mother 3 because of it!
