I don’t want to stop competing. I have a goal to reach and it hurts to think about not making it because I gave up. I just need to start thinking very seriously about my options and what to do to help myself, because I feel like I’m going nowhere feeling like this.

This is beyond amazing and I can’t thank you enough for making it for me. Even if you can’t give any advice, you’ve given me support and that means more than I could say. You rock. Thank you for this beautiful doodle, I’m glad I have someone as great as you

Anxiety in bracket is, in my opinion, something that never fully goes away. I generally feel like people either cope with it or try to use it to fuel them in bracket (which works for some people not othres) If I have any advice to give, it would be the following:
-
Don't look at your seed before bracket starts or even before you're eliminated, or do anything you can to avoid focusing on it if you have to check bracket to ensure no conflicts.

I often suffer from a loss of ego / get intimidated very easily in a tournament setting and in more than a few ways I've felt the same dread of losing to fear. Not sure what is best for you to alleviate it but sending love. It isn't easy but remember always you can win
-
I usually power through it by being overly cheerful and focusing on how I can be least intimidating to my opponents, and it helps immensely if they're already my friend going in. But ability wise one thing I learnt is you 100% have it in you - your peak is where you set it

Followed just recently but I've seen your dedication for this game and Lucas. As someone who's competed in Smash 4 and only seemed to get worse - I know this feeling, and it does hurt. But remember to enjoy playing the game above all, win or lose. It has helped my mindset a lot.
-
I don't know you personally and so I can't say this will work 100%, but focusing on having fun instead of winning has helped relieve a lot of my pre-game nerves and anxiousness. And a benefit is you are more likely to grow rather than plateau with this mindset.
