I feel like if we get anything it will be in the summer during its anniversary, don't worry! (Another Mother rep in smash would be nice around that time too, coupled with a mother 3 release) But obviously I'm being optimistic here, this is best case scenario.
To all disheartened Mother fans; don’t take it to heart. At this point, it’ll be a pleasant surprise if it happens. If you keep betting on it you’ll just keep getting disappointed. Besides, a Mother trilogy or even just 3 would be way bigger than just a single direct.
