Don’t ever be ashamed or embarrassed to ask for help, especially when it comes to your mental health. You are not a burden and there are people who are there for you. Your well-being is important, and you shouldn’t feel like it’s unacceptable to reach out when you need it.

I was in a really rough place last semester, and it's only now, a little less than 6 months later, that I'm finally getting better and it's so worth it. Don't be afraid to ask for help before you hit a wall - that can cause so much more trouble and stress than it's ever worth.
