I want to drop Lucas for a week or two and go back to him with a better perspective and understanding of fundamentals. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m thinking Pit or maybe Lucina.

Honestly I would say don't take char suggestions and play who you love playing, other than Lucas. Im pretty much doing the same with Poketrainer and Greninja
I don’t play anyone but Lucas. Sometimes Ness and Young Link. That’s the issue.

Just open the game on ur free time and keep playing other chars, even if on CPUs. You'll definitely like 1 or 2 for SURE.
