Good decision!
I made the switch from using tap jump and C-smash a few days ago. Using X and C-tilt now. Unlearning years of muscle memory is hard but I’ve already improved as a player. I won’t stop now!

What’s the point of c tilt , like what’s the advantage

It makes tilts more consistent, as in the moment it's easier to just smack the stick in whatever direction rather than carefully move the stick a little to do a tilt. It makes accidental Smash attacks not a problem anymore.

Tap jump is good with a pro controller tho
(I've made the transition bc using a GC with tap jump wasn't possible in this game
