I didn't necessarily want to give the final moments of the game away. Other than that I'd say that witnessing the death of your own mother at a young age might scar your soul much harder than most other things that have happened.
Oh for sure! I totally understood your logic and wasn’t faulting you for it whatsoever. It’s canon that Lucas never fully recovers from his mother’s death, and it was one of THE worst things for sure. To him perhaps it even was.
