stop blaming sakurai because of how lucas was portrayed in brawl when he didnt even wrote it thanks. i just hate how people are so disrespectful toward someone who works hard just so people could hate him for something that he didnt even do.

I loved Lucas in Brawl. There’s nothing wrong with being emotional and a “crybaby”. He’s still heroic, he still saved the world. I want people to stop with the whole “you can’t be a hero if you’re an emotional person who cries when under a ridiculous amount it stress”.

His mother died, his brother killed himself after being taken and turned into a horrific cyborg creature, he had a horrible trip on mushrooms, his dad abused and neglected him, and so much more, and people still really have the audacity to say he isn’t allowed to cry? Really?

1/2 i think people have more of a problem with how everyone think he is a coward but i 100% agree that this kind of mindset is really toxic especially since it's implied that "people who cry a lot are weak". in all honestly which is why i kinda ehhhh when people said that

2/2 they are tired of "crybaby lucas" because of that kind of implication. but that doesnt mean that he is weak far from it. i do think that people do underestimate him a lot even mother fans

I prefer the new lucas honestly because it's more fitting with his actual in game personality when he was older. In brawl it feels a bit forced, in mother 3 he is emotional but not to the extent of brawl, which is what started the general idea that lucas is a wimpy coward.

In the game he's emotional and feels nostalgic when he needs to be in the situation. When he is moving around/fighting ect he is just as capable and brave as ness, if not more, and has a complex personality that can't be summarized as only "emotional","crybaby", or "angry"

Brawl was waaay too much on the crybaby aspect of it, which i swear was taken exclusively from the first chapter of the game. The new lucas is our older lucas, both happy, insicure, proud and sad, and lot more too. I still don't get why his spirit is his young sprite tho.

I liked both. Brawl was honest with how he was at the beginning of the game, he went through so much and had every reason to feel that way. But I do love how Smash almost seemed to raise his confidence and boost him up. Seeing that sweet boy smile is all I care about.
