I’ve always gone into every match thinking that I’d come out of it a better player than I went in. I’ve remained optimistic and did my best to learn from every mistake I’ve made, but at the end of the day I’ve just got to take a step back. I don’t think I’m meant for competitive.
I’ve been trying so hard to believe in myself and prove that I’m worthy, but I get too nervous during bracket. I shut down and start shaking. I clam up, and I can’t perform, and just end up feeling worse at the end. Who am I kidding...I’m sorry for disappointing everyone.
Look everyone goes through this phase of self doubt and it’s ok. What makes a great smash player is the ability to persevere through it all and keep trying. This game ain’t easy. Tourney stress is hard to overcome. Just take it slow and work toward it. You got this
You're not disappointing anyone. Tourney nerves can be really awful (sometimes to the point of being legitimately debilitating to people's play) Don't be ashamed of yourself if you want to take a step back, it doesn't devalue you as a person.

Everyone start from something. You have a lot of years to keep practicing, when you fight online don't try to win, try to use your movements and see how the enemy, a real person, reacts to them and make a conclusion of what is better in situation a or b
First off. I feel you dude. I do this in fnite even with my friends but you know what. You can't down yourself. You gotta say I am meant for this. If its your dream you won't stop. You are a true believer. I havent followed you long but i see you (1/idk)
You can conquer it it takes time and effort and you will learn that it is just you a person and a game ignore everybody else. Drop everything around you and play the game like you were meant to. You are you. A player and no matter what. You will become a better player. So go
