What if Duster isn’t an assist trophy, because he’s going to be revealed as a character to advertise a mother collection on the switch for the series’ 30th anniversary next year. I can hope.
It’s been an idea that floated through my head, but he is a spirit, so probably not unfortunately. Ninten is still a possibility.

Quick reminder that being a spirit does not guarantee that a character won't be a fighter. We have spirits of DK2 K Rool, Robobot Kirby, and Super Sonic. Spirits replace trophies, remember?
