When I first started playing, I hadn't played Earthbound or Mother 3 yet, and played mostly for his playstyle. I've since played the series and cried because of it so I have a bit of an emotional attachment to him, so i'll probably always play him.
It’s a similar story with me! I had played EB briefly but not Mother 3, and frankly didn’t know who Lucas was. Something just clicked, and I was emotionally invested the moment I saw the Emissary. I love how most Lucas mains really relate and attach to him. It makes me so happy.

Yeah! The only character I feel anything close to this level of an attachment to is snake, but in that case it's mostly nostalgia, since Metal Gear is one of my favorite series
