Tbh my only problem with Subspace was that the characters were a little too...”nice”(?) I mean, would you really get turned into stone to save someone you had met very very recently? I wouldn’t, but the SSBB characters did it anyway...
I really hope “Spirits Mode” is like a new Subspace Emissary. I need to see Lucas and Ness reunite because they never got to in Brawl

I disagree. Ness is quite a selfless hero, he’s proven that in Earthbound, so to me it makes sense he’d give his life for someone who was in danger. Especially someone from his franchise; he’d been alone since Smash64. He was so excited someone from his world was finally there.
