Plot twist: if Pelosi literally just doesn't send the articles of impeachment to the senate this is low key the best move possible. This way, Trump never gets officially acquitted and the narrative is just "he was impeached" ad infinitum.
Imagine just sitting on them & continuing to blame McConnell? The media will just keep talking about how Trump was impeached & McConnell is a dick, and the narrative never flips to "he was acquitted". It's sort of a Machiavellian, McConnellesque move. Idk if this is the plan tho
