Politics aside, even a complete gun ban is going to have a negligible impact on mass shootings because government bans are historically ineffective, especially given someone determined to break the law.
It can only ever cause harm to law abiding gun owners.

Here’s what needs to change. If we can protect our banks with bullet proof glass, buzz-in secured entrances, metal detectors and armed security, we can protect our children in the same manner. Enhance school perimeter security now!
