1/ THREAD: Harvard rescinded my acceptance. Three months after being admitted to Harvard Class of 2023, Harvard has decided to rescind my admission over texts and comments made nearly two years ago, months prior to the shooting. I have some thoughts. Here’s what happened.

Before these comments were exposed, did you look back on your behavior; apologize to anyone offended; tell classmates to stop engaging in such hatred; take action to address your ignorance and the source of it; work to right your wrongs, and more?

Also, people reading this chain need to keep in mind that this is not about life or death, or whether or not you can have a career, or how you should be judged for the rest of your life. The college admissions process focuses on your record from high school, including behavior.

Hey, kyle. I wish you luck and peace in life. I'm not here to pile on or troll a kid for his mistakes. I'm here to point out that your posted "apology" was an explanation, or a contextualization, but there isnt an apology in there. Perhaps you meant it to be one. But.. you know.
