Why is it that after every school shooting, we seek to raise the age to buy a gun from 18 to 21?
Why are we making it so that a single mother who’s 20 of two kids, shouldn't be able to defend her children?
All we want is to go home and be able to defend our families!

Up here the age for pretty much everything us 18. That's when you're considered an adult. The US seems to have a patchwork setup of ages for things.. drinking age is different from driving..from fun ownership..not sure why.

I literally said this on a thread yesterday! My heart breaks for those lost in these senseless acts just as much as anyone else’s but why this suggestion, every time. When 18 years old is old enough to serve this country, but not old enough to protect your family and self

If they're not old enough to buy a firearm, then they're not old enough to vote. At any rate, 18 year olds can enlist in the military so they should obviously be allowed to buy a gun.
