@thenasacova @IanHinck @KyleBosman In our fantasy group, we message everyone in our league if we are bidding on a game. We just say what game we are bidding on, not the the amount we bid.

You gotta guy not real deep into playin' your league yet? Now I'm not saying I'm one to do this, but lets just say you can nudge a guy with a lotta cash to start throwin' big bids on games your rivals might want. No need for the reservoir once you've had your fill.

Announcing games you are putting bid on is great. You can bait people into putting in high bids for games you don't want. Or announcing 5 bids at once right after a conference. Or placing a bid on a game no one's heard of that causes a sudden frenzy. Lot more games to be played.
