can we not politicize the riots and just say those people are wrong so they don't detract from the actual protest please? Thanks.
Let me put on my War College hat (and I literally have one). This Antifa insurrection was a total disaster. It achieved no objectives and totally undercut any potential support while exposing it to total destruction by the feds. Just like the real Tet Offensive. It's Tet II.

I always thought Tet was a military/tactical disaster, but a political (and hence ultimately strategic) success. I'd hate for this to be Tet II in that sense. Am I wrong here?

I'm not a scholar on this subject but that is my understanding as well. Wasn't it right after Tet that Cronkite said the war was not winnable, even though the North was pretty much wiped out by it?
