I don’t understand this...apple owns the software...they put money into making the phone...they do software patches...they own their on company. Why is everyone upset over this
We are upset cause we PAYED for our phones. It’s our choice what to do with OUR phones. You buy a house and the construction workers tell you to remove all your furniture cause they don’t like because they build the house, will you? It’s the same thing.
You’re ultimately wrong. You bought the phone, thats yours. The OS that comes with that phone is licensed to you by Apple. Apple is licensing that software to you and rules must be followed. (1/2)
Security research by non-Apple 3rd parties is supposed to be allowed under DMCA . Apple has low motivation to find and disclose vulnerabilities. Outside security audits keep them honest. This affects all Apple users, not just jailbreakers.
