Wait, *Mario* isn't a real game? I was going to make fun of this author for not having played Harvest Moon or Civ or SimCity like a *real* gamer, but Mario... that's like saying Metroid isn't a real game. All he's done here is tell on himself.

And it's even better considering Mario literally saved the video game industry in '83!

Imagine believing that Mario, the father of all modern video games isn't a game. Imagine believing that Pokemon, whose metagame is more intense than near any other RPG isn't a game. Imagine believing that NINTENDO, the company that saved the game industry, doesn't make real games

I guess if it doesn't have a generic poorly-shaven white guy on the cover wandering away from an explosion while wearing body armor and carrying a gun on the cover, I guess that doesn't make it a game.

That is so embarrassing for him. Gaming is beautiful & cool and trying to add any degree of exclusivity to something as inclusive and wonderful as gaming is heartbreaking. Be it console, PC, ps4, switch, Xbox, your dusty Dreamcast, WHATEVER! If you love gaming, your a gamer!
