    Going to college wasn’t just Jared's dream, but also his father’s—Juan, a meat clerk in Ralphs, grew up in Honduras and never went to school. Now Jared is living out that dream as a first-year nursing student at Cal-State LA thanks in part to our Kroger Scholars program.
