I'll fix the typo, thanks.
Interesting. I was surprised how easily I followed the story, given I know nothing about the books or games. I felt like for a fantasy series with a lot of lore and mythology, the main stories were relatively simple to follow.
Easy to follow because you’re actually watching it and following it. This guy mentions he skips episodes three and four for some reason, then writes a review about not understanding a show...
Fellow critic here, not a Witcher fan. Why even release this review if ya’ll don’t care to put the time in? To me, the professional options are: watch it and write a scathing but knowledgable review; or don’t and write nothing. Was there no one else who would actually watch?
The Lord of the Rings is a "franchise about people walking"?
I'd make an "Ight Imma Head Out" joke about closing your article right then, but I want you to know that I forced myself to finish your entire review anyway.
And I didn't even get paid for it!
The funniest part is that it's not even an original critique. They ripped it off from Clerks 2.
Ah yes...the show in which you only saw 2 episodes, apparently never read the books or even played the video games.
Thanks for your review. @EW just lost my subscription.
To be fair I think it's important for the show to be watchable without prior knowledge. You didnt need to read game of Thrones or lord of the rings to watch them
