It's also problematic language... because it distracts from TRUE Sovereign Citizens with Indigenous heritage and tribal enrollment, as recognized through Treaties, our Constitution, and United Nations referendum. The FBI hardly needs 1 more excuse to profile & target Natives.

These people are the worst to deal with in court. They attempt to bring in the federal government for traffic tickets claiming they don't recognize the jurisdiction of local courts. They file incredibly long winded motions claiming they are their own sovereign government.

Up until now, I thought of them as merely disaffected people attempting to "drop off the grid" so to speak. Didn't realize it was this whole extremist movement group.

For years, Sovereign Citizens have been considered the number one threat to police lives because they like to ambush and kill cops. Then there's the whole tax avoidance scheme aspect of it, as well as their love for frivolous lawsuits (usually to steal land).
