The Starbucks matter has nothing to do with implicit bias and everything to do with outright racism. Agreed. It was explicitly racist and institutionally supported by the Starbuck's management present at the time and by the police. The narrative that it's implicit or subconscious suggests that individual education is sufficient, but that will not address structural problems.

This is a big waste of money and time, to excuse the bigotry of white people. It's not a sickness, a disease or an illness and it's not insanity. Bigotry is a choice to live in a world of delusions, despite overwhelming contradictory evidence before your eyes.
