That’s not going to work. A lot of people use guns to hunt deer, protect their chickens from raccoons etc. Once you get out into the country, away from the coasts, it’s different. We need to ban Assault weapons, register and insure guns and have universal background checks.

Everyone I know who has a gun has one because they -want- it, not because they need it. If we compare rural suicide by guns, and the actual levels of subsistence hunting, what do you think wins out?
