Black men get longer sentences for the same federal crime as white men, even when controlling for criminal history, whether someone pleaded guilty, age, education, etc.

Crimes of Treason require a death penalty! None of those guilty of treason have been locked up, like any average black man would have been! One man got an anklet thing, another got his pension and applause!

So too does the status of the victim. I know of two men, same race, same charge commuted while they were both very young: intoxicated manslaughter. One got 8-10 yrs, the other got 40. The difference? The victim of the one was very wealthy and prominent in their community.
