2/ This fall, the Public Interest Legal Foundation sent letters seeking to bully 248 jurisdictions into instituting purge programs. Purge programs are another dirty tactic used to suppress the rights of voters. Today we are taking action to fight back.
3/ The PILF letters use bad data and flawed methodology to promote baseless claims that non-eligible voters are on the rolls. 4/ The PILF letters run contrary to the National Voter Registration Act – a federal law passed by Congress that aims to prevent the premature and unlawful voter purge programs that PILF now seeks.
