This week's Friday night massacre involves critical race theory and anti-racism trainings. Trump says it's time to "cease and desist..these divisive, anti-American propaganda." On June 6, 2020, Trump issued an executive order authorizing taxpayer dollars to promote religious freedom. In fact, he made it mandatory that foreign service employees take religious freedom training once every 3 years. Such hypocrisy.pic.twitter.com/xm026WB6yw

On March 2019, Trump issued another executive order to protect dangerous extremists seeking to exploit college campuses to recruit students and spread bigotry. Their visits were divisive and inciteful and sometimes led to cancellations to protect student safety. Ok for Trump.pic.twitter.com/20JCe43207

And there are affinity groups that have worked across our federal government for decades to ensure dialogue on diversity and inclusion, and that work to address racism inside and outside government. This is healthy activity in any workplace. http://bignet.org/

And if there is one part of the federal government in dire need of anti-racism training, it's the White House. This administration has put forth the least racially diverse slate of judicial nominees in modern time --overwhelmingly white and male.https://www.npr.org/2020/07/02/886285772/trump-and-mcconnell-via-swath-of-judges-will-affect-u-s-law-for-decades …

We exponentially multiply the failure when we say public servants are not permitted to be trained on why it’s bad to be racist towards the people they’ve take an oath to serve.
