We need to do both. We can’t be stuck at the last moment because we’ve been counting on this USPS debacle being resolved. I think it’s irresponsible to advocate for not having an alternate plan.
Make sure your alternate plan is not violating the laws of your state, and unnecessarily resulting in ballots being rejected.
I totally agree on that point. There are reputable sites providing good information about rules governing third-party absentee ballot submission by state. People are rightfully worried and not getting good information about options.
Election boards putting out information about acceptable, alternate options for ballot delivery feels necessary at a minimum.
ALSO, make sure you complete your ballot properly before submission or your vote will not be counted. We had a fair number of ballots rejected during our primary because ballots were completed/submitted incorrectly. Please take your time & verify you’ve completed it properly.
