Some are planning to collect absentee ballots for voters in their neighborhood.
Some states have limits on how many absentee ballots people can return. For example, in WV, you can only return 2.
It's a pain, but the laws vary across the country.

Drop boxes, in those states that provide them, are great! They give voters more options for returning ballots.
But please don't create your own! Drop boxes are safe and secure only when provided by election officials.
