Here’s an idea I’ve tinkered with over the years that I wonder about more - states reforming their electoral process to award electors to the winner of each congressional district as opposed to winner take all. So whichever POTUS candidate wins FL CD-1 gets one electoral vote.

That’s the Robert Reich concept. Saw him outline it. Personally I prefer dispersed power to states via a mechanism that protects smaller states. But I do acknowledge it is a state by state initiative.
