Thank you for the reminder about traitor Confederate General Lee sharing the holiday with MLK. I think it is wonderful that Mississippi is removing the Confederate flag, but they still have a long way to go.
Mississippi is the last state in the U.S. whose flag features the Confederate emblem.
Mississippi was also the last state to ratify the 13th Amendment, abolishing slavery, in 2013.
