Its amazing the machine that's in place to create the system of oppression. Sure wish that system was used to feed the poor and hungry. Half of that will wipe out some of the debt in this country, but that's to much like right. Great numbers @KristenClarkeJD
In early 2019, appx 2.3M people (1 out of every 140 people) were locked up in US jails & prisons. This prison industrial complex costs $182B annually to support everything from policing to prison costs to judges & courts. This adds up to $33B a year in lost labor productivity.
