I was a member of a local camp of the SCV for years. Did not see anything there promoting white supremacy. Then a member asked me to join him in the KKK and my eyes were opened. The SCV is the respectable face of the Klan, the "this is about my family history" face. /1

When I reported the Klansman in our camp to the officers, they shrugged it off. I quit the SCV. Later learned they made him the Camp Commander. So, yeah, they support white supremacy along with Southern heritage. The heritage of Dixie is deeply rooted in racism. /2
