It was Brown University President Ruth Simmons who lifted the veil on the Brown family’s horrific slave legacy and as a result, further exposed the DeWolf family of Bristol. Wealth made on the backs of free labor from humans who had no choice or voice.

I am sorry but slavery of Native Americans had been practiced for in NA for over a hundred years at this point. In 1516, Bartolome de Las Casas - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bartolom%C3%A9_de_las_Casas …, wrote that one could not walk the road from the mine to to the ship without stepping on human bones.
