i voted yes on this amendment. However, I agree with @RonDeSantisFL - they can vote when they complete their compensation the victims of their crime and complete their debt to society (e.g., "fines"). who they vote for is irrelevant.

I’m not a fan of the governor circumventing the vote of the people. FL voted to give voting rights back to people, he added another condition. What’s to stop him from having another after this, and another after that?

This is what Florida's electorate is stuck with. Citizens make an overwhelming choice as voters. But because they picked a low life, con man as Governor, he & the GOP crooked legislators take it away.

The argument was the former felons had paid their debt to society & should be full citizens again, I agree. But if they have outstanding debt to the court? They havent paid yet. I'm all for voting rights, but fair is fair, I cant get my suspended lisence back til its paid off.
