I prefer "rehabilitated convicts" to "felons." If they've served their sentence and reintegrated back into the community, they deserve an acknowledgement of that.

Or how about "people formerly incarcerated" or "people having served time for felony conviction" or "people released after imprisonment." I like using the word "people" before stating what the people did. We are people before we are convicts or felons or criminals.
