This is powerful condemnation of the Trump administration’s attempts to hijack the 2020 Census with a citizenship question that was advocated for by Steve Bannon and Kris Kobach, and was intended to depress participation among communities of color.
There are other cases pending challenging the administration’s actions including our @LawyersComm case which just concluded in California.
As is often the case w/ this administration, expect an unnecessary and protracted battle should they choose to appeal this iron clad ruling.
