We need people of color, especially veterans, to join police and sheriff departments nationwide, stay and move to the top. We cannot change the systemic racism from the outside. We need an army of law school student. Get in, move up, change the world.
If you seek reform of our broken & biased criminal justice system, paying attention to who serves as your elected District Attorney or Sheriff is key.
The lack of racial diversity among these key figures in the criminal justice system is troubling. This must change now. #BETVote
