I was with Ms. Rice yesterday when we found out the cop who killed Tamir Rice was re hired. There are some things so painful that no one should be forced to re-live. Despite the pain I know we won’t ever stop fighting for justice. #TamirRice #BlackLivesMatter

The utter disregard for public safety by hiring a PROBLEMATIC officer, like this one, is infuriating. People cite the lack of official charges against the officer, but they fail to consider the $6 Mil settlement. That there implies culpability on some level.

The Cleveland police department sheilded him from any criminal repercussions with the settlement. I doubt they would let this emotionally volitile trigger happy gun nut protect and serve their families. If so, they can stay the hell away from me...cuz I KNOW they aren't ok.

So... I want you to know that I TOTALLY agree that for all intents and purposes, that this officer, shouldn’t in fact be an officer. BUT, shouldn’t your tweet say “we must stop rewarding cops who destroys lives”? As in ANY life, of ANY color, or ANY gender, of ANY faith? Right?
