Looking at the court documents, I'd say 9 of the 19 might have been given bad info from gov't officials. The rest are accused not only of vote fraud, but also fraud related to falsifying their citizenship
To put this in perspective, more than 137M people voted in 2016. Most likely, these 19 people were given inaccurate information from local officials. Even if this was intentional voter fraud, it amounts to 0.0000138686131% of all votes cast. Hardly a crisis. Hell, not even a drop in the bucket. Yes, let’s protect our voting system, but making a big deal about this is just pushing an anti-immigrant agenda.
