Garland was the Chief of the D.C. Circuit at the time he was nominated. Garland has served on the court for 9 years more than Kavanaugh.

That the selection of a SCOTUS judge should not be based off of party affiliation and Garland should have been tonight's choice seeing as he's more qualified than the present canidate, as evidenced in the OP. Any more questions?

Why did McConnell say his greatest career achievement was preventing Obama from picking a SCOTUS nominee? (Namely, Merrick Garland). Why did he do that when everyone thought Hillary would win?? Did McConnell also know about Russian collusion???
