I feel like Shane Dawson implying that Jake Paul is a sociopath is kind of irresponsible. He's not a mental health professional yet he's sort of making a diagnosis? I'm just really hoping the series acknowledges mental health from a more informed standpoint in the future parts...
Like, "sociopath" is a serious psychological diagnosis. I love Shane, and I understand the Paul brithers are baffling human beings that you just want to put a label on to understand somehow why they are how they are... (cont.)

It just feels weird that he's basically already made a "diagnosis" before even actually spending time with him in person. Even the actual licensed professioknal was saying she wouldn't begin to know although speaking to Jake Paul in person.

I do think it's a ridiculously strong implication but I don't think he's trying to say he truly is and is trying to say that it might not be that big of a leap? Like that sociopathy isn't as rare as we think it is?

I guess that could be the case. I just think a lot of the language is like taking a trait of a sociopath, then setting it next to clips that could fit those traits it makes it almost seem like anyone could start diagnosing their friends based on a Google search.

He has spoken to a therapist about Sociopaths and their characteristics, and he plans on taking her with him to meet Jake. If anything, it’s a good thing that she’s saying this, because else he is a danger to many people. We just have to wait and see until the end.

I'm aware that he spoke to a therapist and got a rundown of what sociopathic tendencies are. But I think putting what she's saying next to clips of him (and others) exhibiting those traits isn't a good representation of how therapists make an actual, valid diagnosis.

That second part is exactly the point I'm trying to make. It seems irresponsible to me to throw around a serious diagnosis when he's not a professional and the video isn't a therapeutic setting. The whole video felt off to me. Like, too casual for this serious subject matter
people where accusing Jake as a sociopath. he was trying to make a point but he should have gotten a REAL therapist. you know what I mean
